Mittal and Arcelor Will Use Trading Name Arcelor Mittal, as They Move to Combine

Mittal and Arcelor said Tuesday they would use the trading name Arcelor Mittal on stock exchange listings as they move ahead with combining the two companies into the world's largest steelmaker.

Rotterdam-based Mittal Steel is listed on the Amsterdam exchange, while Arcelor trades in Paris, Brussels and Luxembourg, all bourses run by Euronext.

The companies said the current ticker codes would stay the same.

Mittal is in the process of completing its $33.4 billion acquisition of Arcelor. The deal, due to be completed by April or May, will create a company with a 10% share of the world steel market.
