After Last Week's Rally, What Investors Should Look at Now

After the market's best week in four years, what can investors expect now?

Vinny Catalano, president and global investment strategist at Blue Marble Research, and Art Hogan, managing director at Jefferies, appeared on "Morning Call" with their outlooks.

“The data that is coming out later on in the week is a reflection of where the consumer is standing today”, said Catalano. He believes there is also the issue of whether or not housing will have a ripple effect throughout the economy. “Pricing has got to come down in order to move sales.”

Hogan believes the factors that drove last week's market rally were the Federal Reserve's policy statement and Friday's surprising strong report on existing home sales. “The important thing to focus on is the pace of the U.S. economy”, said Hogan, “Today (Monday) will be overreaction after a really good week last week.”
