Your Questions About Starbucks, Airbus... and Miss USA


Question #1: Liz from New York wants to know about Starbucks (SBUX) and its decline of 13% in the past year. She wonders if the stock will make a comeback.

Guy Adami says he doesn’t think SBUX is a growth play anymore. He says they have their hands on too many things and he doesn’t like it.

Question #2: Ryan from Connecticut wants to know about the introduction of the Airbus A380, and consequently, which airline parts suppliers are a good investment.

Guy Adami recommends Rockwell Collins (COL) because it is a great growth story. They make avionic in-flight entertainment systems and they just guided high for the year.

Question #3:
Jonathan from New York is interested in precious metals and asks if he’d be better off investing in an ETF such as streetTRACKS Gold Trust ETF (GLD) or directly in a mining company.

Eric Bolling says he likes the whole space. GLD is the best way to get into the space. He adds that Goldcorp. Inc. (GG) and Kinross Gold Corporation (KGC) are also great stocks, but Eric recommends that Jonathan just own GLD.

Question #4: This question comes from the newly crowned Miss USA, Rachel Smith. The contestant from Tennessee says she’s looking to invest her winnings in an industry with which she’s already familiar. She asks the guys what stocks are leaders in fashion or beauty.

Jeff Macke recommends investing in Medicis Pharmaceuticals (MRX) which specializes is making people looking younger and beautiful. He also likes bebe (BEBE) because they’ve signed Eva Longoria and he feels they’re on the comeback.
