Rep. Barney Frank is one of the most senior members of the House, having served as a U.S. Representative from Massachusetts for about 25 years. Prior to that he served in the Massacusetts state legislature. Frank has degrees from Harvard College and Harvard Law School. He was born and raised in New Jersey.
