Contestants: See This Post For Good Friday's Trades

Hey folks, here's some news about this Friday, April 6, 2007. It's Good Friday and the markets are closed. So how does that effect you? Friday qualifies as a market holiday so any trades submitted after the cut-off on Thursday, including all day Friday, should be priced according to the closing price for Monday--which means that all such trades will be processed after the close on Monday. Here's the specific language from the rules:

"Trades submitted on weekends, market holidays and after 3:59:59 p.m. on trading days will be priced at the stock’s closing price for the next trading day."

So--to re-cap, this Friday is Good Friday and it's a market holiday. That means any trades submitted after the Thursday cut-off--and through Friday, will be priced according to the closing price of Monday.

Thanks all.
