CNBC Europe to Air New Energy Segment in Association with BP

CNBC Europe has developed a partnership with BP to broadcast a new regular energy segment. ‘Start Talking: Alternative Energy’ will air each Tuesday at 11.55 (CET) until the end of December.

The series of segments examines how current and future technology will realistically allow a reduction in the reliance on carbon fuels to in turn, reduce emissions. The first segment opens with a discussion focusing on the world’s energy situation today and offers forecasts for the future. Subsequent topics for the series include solar power, wind power, wave technology and natural gas to name a few.

Branding of ‘Start Talking: Alternative Energy’ will be through BP sponsorship bumpers, branded promotional spots and spot adjacencies.

Liz Jones, VP, European Sales Director for CNBC Europe comments: “Alternative energy is such an important issue at the moment. “Start Talking; Alternative Energy” offers our viewers a great opportunity to engage further in the topic and we are delighted to have BP as a sponsorship partner for this.”
