Eric's "Sub" Subprime Play

graphic_dirty_trades.jpg

Pawn shops are Eric’s dirty trade – he likes this space because it's a multi-billion dollar industry and these companies make their profits from loans. He thinks of pawn brokers as sub subprime lenders.

Believe it or not, there are publicly traded pawn shops – Eric likes First Cash Financial (FCFS), Cash America International (CSH) and EZCORP (EZPW).
