Time to raise the curatin on this year's Summer Movies! It's an important time of year for studios and film buffs alike, and kicking off the season is the Tribeca Film Festival founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal.

Following is Jeff Macke's exclusive interview with one of the most influential figures at the festival; Craig Hatkoff is the festivals Co-Founder.

In this clip Hatkoff talks with Jeff Macke about how films are chosen and about the logistical challenge of staging a two-week event at venues across New York City.
