The headlines: Jones (JNY), And Other Apparel Makers Getting Squeezed As Department Stores Demand Lower Prices

The word: Jeff Macke says companies that sell to department stores are getting squeezed because of the consolidation in the deptarment store space. For example Macy's can demand lower prices because they now have greater leverage. Walk away from the retailers who sell to department stores, he adds.

THE "AGFLATION" TRADE:

The headline: Agco (AG) Earnings Spark a Rally Down on the Farm

The word: Eric Bolling says prices are going up because of bad weather. He says the companies in the fast Money “Ag Play” are at or near all time highs. (Just to remind the Fast Money Ag play is comprised of 4 companies Eric likes in the agricultural space. They are Monsanto (MON), Agrium (AGU), Deere (DE) and Bunge (BG).

The headline: Delta Airlines (DAL) Resumes Trading Tomorrow After Emerging From Bankruptcy Protection

The word: Guy Adami says he doesn’t like any of the airline stocks right now.

INTEL ANALYST DAY:

The headline: Intel, (INTC) The World's Biggest Chip Maker Meets The Street For Analyst Day

The word: Tim Strazzini says it will be a pep rally for the company. He says info on their profit margins will be the most important data coming out of the meeting.

BLOCKBUSTED:

The headline: Blockbuster (BBI) Shares Tumble 13% On Worse-Than-Expected Quarterly Loss

The word: Jeff Macke likes that Blockbuster is now focusing on their on-line rentals, but he adds it takes a lot of money and it’s a tough business

LOSING HAND:

The headline: Las Vegas Sands (LVS) Shares Fall After Hours As Quarterly Earnings Miss Estimates

The word: Eric Bolling says there are 95% occupancy rates in Las Vegas. Stay with this stock.

BURRITOS, PIZZA, & CHICKEN WINGS:

The headline: Fast Food Franchises Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG), Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD), And Yum! Brands (YUM) Stage Belly-Busting Rally

The word: Jeff Macke still likes the restaurant space. Tim Strazzini thinks CMG is overvalued by about 10%, and explains these companies are attractive because they operate at high margins yet only require a relatively small footprint.
