Swiss April Unemployment Drops 0.1%

The Swiss unemployment rate fell to 2.9% in April, from 3.0% in March, Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Seco) said.

The unemployment rate thus reached the upper-end of the forecast range of 2.8-2.9%.

The number of jobless fell by 5,086 to 112,829, while the number of registered job seekers dropped by 6,492 to 173,806, the ministry said.
