Question #1: Maureen from Virginia says she's very bullish on the utility sector and wants to know if The Southern Company (SO) is a smart energy play?

Eric Bolling says SO is a great company and he recommends Maureen stay with this stock.

Question #2 :Amanda from Florida wonders if all the recent leveraged buy-out (LBO) activity makes credit rating agencies such as Moody's (MCO) a smart investment.

Tim Strazzini says it does. He likes MCO as well as MBIA Inc. (MBI) and Amback Financial Group (ABK).



Question #3: Lindsay from New York believes capex spending is slowing, and wants to know if she should take profits in Xerox (XRX), which is near its 52 week high?

Guy Adami says XRX has backed off its 52-week high by about 5%. He recommends selling it and buying it back at $17. (It’s worth noting on Wednesday May 9th XRX closed at $18.05)

Question #4: Dan from California believes there’s fast money to be made in Sirius (SIRI) and XM Satellite Radio (XMSR). However, he’s worried that if the merger doesn’t go through one of the companies might go bankrupt and he asks what to do?

Jeff Macke likes SIRI with a 2-handle but says it’s a high risk trade. He explains Mel Karmazin runs Sirius and that’s who he’s betting on.
