Your Questions About Wachovia, Apple...

graphic_face2face.jpg

Question #1 Tom from Illinois wants to know if Wachovia (WB) might be making a mistake in their acquisition of A.G. Edwards (AGE) --which was up more than 20% YTD?

Guy Adami says although the headlines suggest they overpaid, the acquisition makes WB the second largest retail broker in the US and Guy calls it a smart baby boomer play. He adds WB is ahead of the curve and he speculates the next financial services company to be bought out will be Raymond James (RJF) or Jefferies (JEF).

Question #2 Jessica from Ohio asks if declining chip prices will expand margins for companies like Apple (AAPL) or Motorola (MOT)?

Pete Najarian says absolutely. He also thinks the iPhone will be monstrous for AAPL.
