Futures traders in London using the IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) trading system experienced technical problems amidst a day of disruptions for the investment tool, ICE users told Dow Jones Tuesday.
The Web-based terminals were unable to show all ICE futures contracts on the trading terminals, according to one oil broker in London. The trader added that 4,000 ICE users were still logged on, citing information from the ICE, Dow Jones reported.
Disruptions to ICE terminals were reported earlier, which an ICE source attributed to a "general internet problem." However, traders said their systems began to come back online after about 15 minutes, according to Dow Jones.
Representatives of ICE in London weren't immediately available for comment to Dow Jones.
