Swiss May Unemployment Drops to 2.7%

The Swiss unemployment rate fell to 2.7% in May from 2.9% in April, Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Seco) said.

The unemployment rate thus reached the lower end of the economist forecast range of 2.7-2.8%.

The number of jobless fell by 6,629 to 106,200, while the number of registered job seekers dropped by 7,963 to 165,843, the ministry said.
