No. 2 - First Ethan-Oil Company

On Monday shares or Verasun (VSE) moved higher on unsubstantiated speculation that BP may make a bid. Will big oil buy ethanol producers?

Pete Najarian explains that he’s seeing unusual options activity suggesting British Petroleum (BP) may gobble-up ethanol producer Verasun, creating the first "Ethan-Oil" conglomerate.

He says Marathon (MRO) is also grabbing more and more (smaller) ethanol players.

Eric Bolling reminds the panel this is unsubstantiated speculation. Eric can’t imagine what BP would want with VSE. It doesn’t make sense, he says.

Dylan Ratigan tells the panel there was no comment from VSE.
