No.1 - Sorry, No TV's Sold Here

Circuit City (CC) and Best Buy (BBY) earnings this week suggest that while the digital revolution has never been hotter, the business of selling digital products such as flat-panel TV’s has never been worse. Where’s the fast money?

Jeff Macke says there is no money in the hardware of flat panel TV’s for electronics retailers. They make money in software and services.

Jeff recommends investors buy GameStop (GME) as a “next year story” because he believes they will make margins next year.

Jeff also says investors should stay long Disney (DIS); buy Best Buy because he thinks they will start making money in the 4th quarter and stay away from Circuit City.
