Jeff Macke believes a tech derivative play is the credit card companies such as Mastercard (MA). He feels they will benefit from the explosive growth of internet shopping. Although there are other methods of payment, Macke thinks consumers will prefer using their charge cards.
Karen Finerman thinks plastic will grow in all areas of retail and suggests that both Mastercard and American Express (AXP) will benefit from the phenomenon.
