On CNBC’s “Closing Bell” Karen Finerman reveals why she thinks M&A is back.

“We’ve seen a few deals recently, says Finerman, "Last week we saw NAVTEQ (NVT) and Biogen (BIIB), which will likely be $24 or $25 billion. And I think we’ll not only see corporate buyers, but private equity coming back.”

She adds “And on Monday Children’s Place (PLCE) announced their prior CEO might bid for the company (likely with private equity). It’s not a huge deal, but it is a sign that private equity may be returning.”

Also she says deals are do-able. “Once this rush of deals from the first half of the year is completed I think we’ll see more, although the models with have to change somewhat.”
