Online retail is emerging as the surprise trade of the year. And eBay (EBAY) the mother of them all comes out with earnings after the bell, Wednesday. How do you trade?

Jeff Macke says he likes the skepticism going into eBay’s numbers in part because they wrote down their investment in Skype. (Macke feels all their dirty laundry is out in the open.) He adds average revenue per item has been ticking up.

Pete Najarian tells the panel he’s not seeing anything in the options market that suggests what will happen with eBay.
