Infrastructure software maker Citrix Systems reported higher third-quarter results based on growth in product license revenue and online services.
Net income for the third quarter rose to $61 million, or 33 cents a share, from $44 million, or 23 cents a share, a year ago. Excluding items, the company earned 41 cents a share in the latest third quarter. Revenue rose 26 percent to $350 million.
Analysts on average had expected the company to earn 38 cents a share, excluding items, on revenue of $339.9 million, according to Reuters Estimates.
Shares fell 2.8% in after-hours trading.
