Electrical engineering group Schneider reported a forecast-beating 28.4 percent rise in third-quarter sales on Tuesday, helped by acquisitions, and predicted like-for-like sales growth of 13 percent in 2007.
Schneider said it generated revenues of 4.468 billion euros ($6.35 billion) in the three months to Sept. 30, up from 3.48 billion euros in the third quarter of 2006.
This came above an average forecast of 4.3 billion euros from 10 analysts polled by Reuters.
Schneider said it now expected a like-for-like revenue growth of 13 percentvfor the full year, up from a previous target for growth of "more than 10 percent."
