Your Warren Buffett inquiry? Check. The play on Microsoft before earnings? Answered. No matter what the question, the traders have a solution.

I ran into Guy in line for a breakfast burrito in the San Francisco airport on Saturday. Should have paid for his orange juice. Anyway, Guy mentioned that he liked Microsoft (MSFT) going into Thursday's earnings. My question is: assuming earnings are good, are you looking at this as a quick trade to sell? Or would you hold Microsoft for the long-term? --Scott, Reno, NV

The $32 level was resistance for MSFT but it will become support, Guy (and Jeff Macke) have said. Guy recommended MSFT as a long-term holding.

As we see oil go up and the U.S. dollar fall, doesn't that just mean that it costs us (Americans) more, but the actual price of oil in real terms isn't rising that fast? --Nicholas, Menlo Park, CA

Because oil is denominated in U.S. dollars, it seems more expensive as the dollar falls, Jeff said. On the flip side, if you price the U.S. stock indexes in euros, they will have appreciated much less on the year. It’s all a matter of appearance. The only way it really affects the average American is if they travel abroad, Jeff said.
