Money Mail - We Answer Your Questions

graphic_face2face.jpg

Once again, it’s time to dip into the Fast Money mailbag.

Cathy

Cathy writes, “Are Google (GOOG), Apple (AAPL) and Research In Motion (RIMM) trying to beat out each other on who has the highest share price?

And why don't they ever split? This way the small guy wont be intimidated. $800 per share is frightening to us.”

Jeff Macke tells Cathy not to be freaked out. Simply buy fewer shares.

John

John writes, “I own some Dicks Sporting Goods (DKS) and I know you like them as well, based partially on their sales of names like Under Armour (UA), Nike (NKE) and Crocs (CROX). Was the recent sell-off based on the Crocs numbers? And if so, does this change your bullish sentiment on the company?

Pete Najarian tells John he thinks UA and NKE are strong and he remains bullish on Dicks.

Scot from Virginia

Scot writes, “Mr. Adami was talking up Fluor (FLR) a lot before he went on vacation and I wanted to know if all that Italian food and the rate cut changed his mind on the construction services sector?”

Guy Adami tells Scot that he still likes FLR. (And he likes that Scot spells his name with one "T."

Phyllis from California

Phyllis writes, “I want to know what Karen is going to do with BEA Systems (BEAS) as the Oracle deal is off. I followed you in and I want to know: Should I hold or sell?”

Karen Finerman tells Phyllis to “hold” because at the end of the day she expects BEAS and Oracle will merge.
