MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said Cooper Tire & Rubber Co's 'B+' rating and stable outlook will not be affected by its third-quarter results. Cooper's net sales were up 11 pct on-year during the quarter, and operating profit in the US was 28 mln usd versus a loss in the third quarter of 2006. Standard & Poor's expects sales in the fourth quarter to be flat sequentially but expects raw material costs to rise, however, and continue to put pressure on margins.
