Nokia Siemens says won mobile softswitch gear order from Elisa

HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Nokia Siemens Networks said it won a contract to supply mobile softswitch gear to Elisa as part of the telecom group's plan to upgrade its mobile networks in Finland and Estonia.

The technology, which upgraded switches previously supplied by Nokia, has already been delivered and is now operational.

No financial details were disclosed.
