WARSAW (Thomson Financial) - Polish advertising market should grow 11 pct this year to 6.6 bln zlotys, daily Rzeczpospolita reported, citing a consulting company.
According to CR Media Consulting, after 9 months the Polish media booked more than 4.5 bln zlotys in advertising revenues, or 10 pct more than a year earlier. Analysts has said fast growth of the local advertising market bodes well for the Warsaw-listed media companies, such as Agora and broadcaster TVN, which should benefit from election campaign spending as well as the holiday season in the fourth quarter.
CR Media Consulting expects the market to grow 8.5-10.0 pct between 2008 and 2009.
