European Shares Seen Lower, Nokia in Focus

European shares are set to open slightly lower on Tuesday, tracking U.S. and Asian markets, with the focus on an investor update from top cellphone maker Nokia.

Bookmakers see Britain's FTSE 100 down 5 to 11 points, Germany's DAX down 3 to 5 points and French CAC 40 down 1 to 13 points.

With the session relatively light on corporate and macroeconomic news, investors will be cautious ahead of the week's key events -- rate decisions from the European Central Bank and the Bank of England on Thursday, and the release of monthly U.S. jobs data on Friday.

Interbank lending rates at nine-year highs on credit worries will remain in focus.
