Blood On The Street

What’s the biotech trade as the American Society Of Hematology Conference kicks off in Atlanta?

Amgen (AMGN), Genentech (DNA), Biogen (BIIB), Celgene (CELG), and Cephalon (CEPH) are all presenting at the conference, explains Pete Najarian.

Pharmion (PHRM) was just bought by Celgene and if they present information suggesting drugs in their pipeline are successful, these stocks could move higher.

Also, Millennium (MLNM) has some late stage drugs – which could be attractive to Pfzier (PFE). Pete thinks PFE could be “sniffing around” the conference looking for a takeover target.
