European Shares Seen Higher, Fed in Focus

European stocks were seen opening slightly higher on Tuesday, tracking gains in the United States and Asia ahead of a rate decision by the Federal Reserve.

Bookmakers expected Britain's FTSE 100 to open up 5 to 11 points,
Germany's DAX 2 to 11 points higher and France's CAC 40 up 3 to 12 points.

The Fed is widely expected to cut interest rates by 25 basis points.
