New York Mayor Bloomberg says he plans to stay the Mayor of New York until the bitter end.
"I've got 753 days left to go in my term, but who's counting," Bloomberg said on CNBC's Squawk Box this morning.
While rumors continue to swirl about his interest to get into the presidential race, the mayor brushed them aside, but not without some biting commentary on the election process.
The unaffiliated politician said partisanship in Washington was "no good" and the next president needs to be somebody "that can take people from both sides of the aisle, get the best and brightest, pull them together and tet them to focus on the issues rather than just protecting a few votes."
Hmmm. Sounds like a job for an independent.
