Euro Shares Seen Rising in Shortened Session

European stocks were seen edging higher on Monday in a shortened session before the Christmas break, adding to Friday's lofty gains after stronger-than-expected U.S. consumer spending data eased worries over the outlook for the world's biggest economy.

Financial bookmakers, or spread betters, in London expected Britain's FTSE-100 index to open between 13 and 15 points higher, and the French CAC 40 down 5 points to up 24 points.

Japanese and German markets are closed on Monday.
