I am Commander Planet and after oil surged to $100 this year I had no other choice but to scour the globe --- from earth to wind to fire --- for the next fast money. We begin with the earth; specifically coal.
This commodity remains in high demand as it provides half the electricity in the US and with shortages in countries like India and China, Wall Street predicts prices may grow by more than double digits this year.
While coal has been very good for investors wallets it's been very dangerous to our world. Carbon emissions and water contamination make coal among the dirtiest of all energy sources.
Still there's hope it can become good for profit and people. World governments --through tax breaks and subsidies -- are driving ways to make coal cleaner such as a new plan to convert it into a liquid first. So, with global demand picking up and cleaner ways coming coal is my first Commander Planet play.

Seriously Pete, how do you recommend trading it?
I like Joy Global (JOYG) and Bucyrus Intl (BUCY) as companies that take coal out of the ground, Najarian says. For transportation, Burlington Northern (BNI) moves it around. And for coal gasification I recommend Eastman Chemical (EMN).
I agree, adds Guy Adami. But BNI is probably a little ahead of itself as these levels. Maybe wait for a dip.
