Will avid sailor Larry Ellison steer Oracle to strong earnings Wednesday?
Oracle has been ahead of the game in making acquisitions – the company made 11 in 2007 alone – and Jeff Macke thinks it will work in 2008 for the same reason.
The stock did not get rewarded for its last blowout quarter, but Guy Adami thinks the strength in big-cap tech earnings as of late bodes well for Ellison’s Oracle.
Just don’t get greedy, Pete Najarian warned. If the stock pops on earnings, take some gains.
