ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., April 24, 2008---CNBC's signature morning program, "Squawk Box," (6AM-9AM ET) is hitting the road to Atlanta, GA for "Squawk Across America" brought to you by American Century Investments. Co-anchors Joe Kernen, Becky Quick and Carl Quintanilla are scheduled to broadcast live from Atlanta's World of Coca-Cola and the new Georgia Aquarium on Friday, May 16th.
The three-hour program will focus on big business in Atlanta, GA and the south and will feature some of Georgia's most prominent CEOs including Aflac's Dan Amos, Home Depot's co-founder and former CEO Bernie Marcus as well as local real estate developers who have transformed Atlanta.
"Squawk Box" is the ultimate "pre-market" morning news and talk program. With a unique sense of street smarts and wit, the program mixes business news with an unscripted and fast-paced exchange of banter. CNBC kicked off "Squawk Across America" in Miami, FL on Friday, February 22nd broadcasting live from Loews Miami Beach. The second stop on the tour was Washington, DC on Friday, March 28th. The fourth and final stop on the tour will be Boston, MA on Friday, June 13th.
