Lightning Round: Time Warner, Potash and More

PharMerica : “This is a great way to play a slowing economy,” Cramer said of this pharmacy-services company.

Thompson Creek : “I like it longer term,” Cramer said. Specialty metals like the one TC deals in, molybdenum, are going lower, so investors need to keep that in mind.

Time Warner : Competition from Verizon Communications’ FiOS service will hurt TWX, Cramer said, and the rest of the company isn’t doing that well either. “I do not want to own Time Warner.”

Mechel : Russia Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is hurting that country’s markets, Cramer said, so the Mad Money host won’t recommend this stock.

Potash : The ethanol mandate is sending raw costs soaring for food companies, Cramer said. A repeal, which he said could happen, might cut into Potash’s business, but this is still his favorite fertilizer stock.

Donaldson : “This is one where the stock is good, the market is bad,” Cramer said. “Pollution control is not going away. Someone is going to buy Donaldson if it keeps going down.” He said DCI is a buy, buy, buy.
