Ratiganomics Comes To Morning Joe

The Commissioner, Dylan Ratigan appeared Tuesday on MSNBC's Morning Joe with host Joe Scarborough and the Morning Joe team to discuss the presidential candidates' economic plansand promises.

Here are some of the highlights:

Dylan on a "Gas Tax Holiday":

Imagine you lost your job, and imagine you didn't have a job for 10 years. Now, imagine you decided you wanted to go on vacation to the South of France, someplace real expensive. Maybe on a safari in Africa. Then you come back from on the holiday and you've got more bills than when you left. That's the Gas Tax Holiday.

Dylan on a "Windfall Profits" Tax:

It's madness, utter madness. Another version of a short term solution to a long term problem. Taking a thousand dollars quite honestly from anybody and giving it anybody else for any reason will solve absolutely nothing.
