The Najarian NFL Playbook

With football season getting underway Doctor Jon and Brother Pete recommend some plays. Don’t drop the ball!

The madness is about to begin. This week-end kicks off football season with the first contest between the Giants and Redskins on Thursday night.

New York will have a tough time repeating last year's Super Bowl triumph after enduring the retirement of Michael Strahan, a serious injury on the defensive line, and an improved NFC East.

And it’s entirely possible Washington Redskins defensive end Jason Taylor could sit out the game. The super-star is recovering from a sprained right knee.

Fast Money’s Jon and Pete Najarian are closely watching both teams and have come up with a few recommended plays. Of course these plays are better executed on Wall Street.

Molson Coors is my first trade, says Doctor Jon. When fans are winning they drink beer and if they’re losing they require it.

Also look at Electronic Arts, he says. Fantasy football video games are bigger than any Hollywood movie and this stock looks relatively cheap to me.

Nike and Under Armour are my football plays, adds Pete. However, wait for a pull back in Under Armour.
