ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., September 17, 2008-With the Dow down almost 450 points and the S&P down more than 4.5%, Americans want to know what's really going on, who's next and most importantly, is their money safe?

CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, will devote its entire primetime line-up to the crisis broadcasting a live special "Wall Street Crisis: Is Your Money Safe?" tonight, Wednesday, September 17th from 7PM to 9PM ET.

CNBC's Larry Kudlow will anchor the 7PM hour of the special live from CNBC Global Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. and CNBC's Maria Bartiromo will anchor the 8PM hour live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

CNBC anchors, reporters and experts will examine what is happening right now on Wall Street and what Americans need to know about keeping their money safe.

Following "Wall Street Crisis: Is Your Money Safe?" CNBC will broadcast a special edition of CNBC's new personal finance program "On the Money" at 9PM & 1AM ET entitled "On the Money: Keeping Your Money Safe." Hosted by Carmen Wong Ulrich, the program will help you understand how this crisis on Wall St. affects your money.

CNBC will also broadcast a special edition of "Squawk Box," co-anchored by Joe Kernen, Becky Quick and Carl Quintanilla, tomorrow, Thursday, September 18th beginning at 5AM ET.

Larry Kudlow is the anchor of CNBC's "Kudlow & Company" (7PM-8PM ET).

Maria Bartiromo is the co-anchor of CNBC's "Closing Bell" (3PM-4PM ET), anchor of "Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo" (4PM-5PM ET) and host and managing editor of the nationally syndicated "Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo."
