CNBC'S "THE ENTREPRENEURS" WILL AIR 10/1 (ALL TIMES ARE ET)
"The Entrepreneurs," an original CNBC production, with Donny Deutsch will air Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 10 PM & 1AM ET.
In this 60-minute special, Donny Deutsch, host of CNBC's "The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch," showcases the individuals behind two successful companies, FEED Granola and Spanx, and how their products went from an idea to solid, profitable businesses.
Jason Osborn and Jason Wright, who founded New York-based FEED Granola, were models who turned their company from a start-up in a Greenwich Village walk-up apartment to a major force in the food industry less than two years (it's on Whole Foods shelves nationwide, for example). And Sara Blakely gives the girdle an update when she created Spanx, which has helped millions of women feel a size smaller.
