CNBC’s The Leaders Available on Sky Anytime

CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced that its successful one-on-one CEO interview programme TheLeaders will become the first business programme to be on Sky Anytime.

Sky Anytime, a service from Sky whereby a selection of highlights from across the Sky platform are showcased on the partitioned hard disk drive of more than 2.7 million Sky+ boxes for viewing on-demand, will feature an episode of CNBC’s successful The Leaders series and will be available from 23 October. In the episode, taken from the first season, award-winning presenter Simon Hobbs talks frankly with the Chairman of easyGroup, Sir Stelios Haji-loannou, about his life and entrepreneurship.

This is the first time the CNBC has made its content available on an on-demand platform and the first time that Sky has made business content available to its more than 2.7 million Sky Anytime households.

We hope to expand with other of our long-from programming that will be of interest to Sky customers, who like our viewers, lead busy lives and want to watch our programming when it suits their schedules.

Season one of The Leaders has recently been released on DVD, and is available from Amazon.co.uk, WH Smith (travel stores) and will also shortly be available on iTunes. Series two of The Leaders is currently airing on CNBC on Thursdays at 21.30GMT.
