Tax problems are dominating the headlines and the filing deadline is still over two months away. But after three White House appointees landed in hot water for flubbing their filings, a lot more of us average Americans are asking ourselves if we're squeaky clean.
Of course, unintentional mistakes are easy to make with a tax code that's 67,500 pages long. But that's not stopping the IRS from stepping up audits of upper-income households - all the more reason to make sure you get it right this April.
