What To Do In A Pullback: Strategists

What should investors be thinking about heading into the holiday weekend? Robert Pavlik, chief market strategist at Banyan Partners and Michael Smith, senior vice president at Avatar Associates gave CNBC their thoughts.

"Investors are looking for a correction," said Pavlik. "If there is a pullback, I'd look to cyclicals like financials, technology and industrials as well as consumer discretionary."

"It's looking like a normal V shaped recovery," Smith said. "We are positioning our clients and our portfolios to take advantage of that with a lot of industrials and technology ETFs."

As for the overall economy Pavlik, was somewhat optimistic. "The worry that jobs aren't there yet is a concern, but what the government stimulus package will do is fill that void," Pavlik said.
