CNBC.COM POSTS ITS 21st STRAIGHT MONTH OF YEAR-OVER-YEAR GROWTH IN UNIQUE VISITORS

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. September 21, 2009 - CNBC.com, a top ten site in the Business/Finance News/Research category, scored its 21st straight month of year-over-year growth in uniques according to the latest data from comScore Media Metrix. In August, the online destination for global business news and expert analysis was visited by 5.5 million unique visitors.

CNBC.com is participating in comScore's newly launched Media Metrix 360, a panel-centric hybrid solution to digital audience measurement, and its August 2009 numbers are reflective of this new approach. Media Metrix 360 combines person-level measurement from comScore's proprietary 2 million person global panel with Web site server metrics.

This means that 23 minutes out of every hour spent on financial news websites in the United States are spent on CNBC.com.

-CNBC.com remains #1 in time spent per visit, with users spending an average of 40.7 minutes per visit, the most in the Business/Finance - News/Research category.

-CNBC.com is still #1 in the category in minutes per visitor (109.5 min/visitor).
