Chartology – Is The Market Rally Over?

Despite gains earlier in the month the S&P ended October in negative territory, snapping a seven-month winning streak.

But October is historically a weak month, anyway. Isn’t this to be expected?

Does the market action mean that the rally is over? Or will the bulls be off to the races as we turn the calendar?

With so many questions and so few answers it seems like a good time to consult the charts with Oppenheimer’s widely followed technical analyst, Carter Worth. What do the patterns reveal?
