Congratulations to Ms. Maria Bartiromo! She has been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the “Fifty Faces That Have Shaped the Decade.” FT reporters came up with 50 names that made a powerful impact on their region or sector in the fields of politics, business, economics and culture. What an amazing accomplishment to be on the list with the most powerful people in the past ten years, many of whom we’ve had the privilege to interview.
Bartiromo joins Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, Former President George W. Bush and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on the list. CEOs like Lakshimi Mittal, Indra Nooyi and Jeff Bezos were on the list for business. In the economics section, Alan Greenspan, Ben Bernanke and Nouriel Roubini were also on the list.
When Maria and I spoke this morning, Bartiromo said, “I am so honored to be on this prestigious list. I am so honored to have had this front seat in business in one of the most important decades of our times”.
I have been Maria Bartiromo’s producer over the past five years, alongside her during the biggest interviews of our careers. It has been a privilege to cover these stories day in and day out. I look forward to sharing more of our stories with you next year on air and in our blog. We hope to bring you even better work in the next ten years. Happy New Year!
