It’s possible that Cadbury may be rescued by a white knight, after all.
According to a WSJ report, board members at Cadbury are resisting the hostile takeover effort from Kraft, and instead are holding talks with Hershey to encourage a rival offer.
The paper goes on to say that Cadbury has even provided some guidance on the kind of price that would draw board support.
