Cramer's Report Card on Stimulus

Cramer’s, midday, Pulse of the Market:

Within the last 24 hours,Cramer said, Gilead Sciences has shown good data and has a new drug that may help patients with AIDS. Also, Huntington Bancshares, Cramer’s spec stock of the year is coming along. And Citigroup is quietly moving up, Cramer said, and may reach “5 bucks over the course from now to 2012.”

Today marks the one-year anniversary of President Obama's economic stimulus and recovery package. Cramer spoke with the staff director and chief economist on the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board, Austan Goolsbee to see how the U.S. is doing.

Goodlbee told Cramer, “…consensus from forecasters out on the street and private sector that the impact of stimulus taken collectively has been in the 2 million job range…”
