TORONTO, May 10 (Reuters) - Worldcolor, formerly known as Quebecor World, reported a smaller first-quarter loss on Monday helped by a massive restructuring plan and other cost-containment initiatives. The Montreal-based company, which is being acquired by U.S. printing rival Quad/Graphics, reported a loss of $29 million compared with a loss of $126 million for the same time a year earlier. The company did not provide per share numbers. Revenue fell 8 percent to $692 million. The company said the takeover, which was announced during the quarter, is expected to be completed in the early summer pending the usual regulatory requirements.
