Retailers were weak all day after disappointing guidance from Kohl's early this morning.
Kohl's dropped 6 percent at the close, JCPenney and Macy's closed down 5 percent, while Nordstrom fell 4 percent.
After the bell, Nordstrom is down another 3 percent after its Q1 earnings missed analyst forecasts ($0.52 vs. $0.55 consensus).
It did, however, raise its full-year guidance, inline with current Street expectations ($2.50-$2.65 vs. $2.61 consensus) and projects same-store sales to rise 4 percent to 6 percent this year.
