Like golf? Like CNBC? Want to help out a worthy cause?
This is all part of a charity golf tournament we have coming up Sunday, June 27. It's in honor of CNBC Director Dave Van Dyck, an avid golfer, who died two years ago of cancer. Net proceeds go to his young son's education trust fund.
The winning bid will get two slots in Tyler and Scott's foursome, green fees and cart, continental breakfast, lunch at the turn (Grasshopper Gazebo Grill) BBQ buffet dinner, and a souvenir set of CNBC golf balls.
Not included: Transportation, lodging and equipment. Players are responsible for getting themselves to and from the event and bringing their own golf clubs or making arrangements to rent a set.
Most important to some folks ... it's a scramble tournament (which I find can cover up a multitude of sins).
The tournament is at the Farmstead Golf & Country Club, 88 Lawrence Rd, Lafayette, NJ 07848 (About 60 miles northwest of New York City.)
